RTP Grant accepting comment for Bike Park

The plans for Syringa Park and Trails have been completed, adopted, and a lot of the  funding is in place.

The City of Missoula recently submitted an RTP Grant Application which would provide a large portion of the funding and if awarded construction could possibly begin for phase I of the park.

Syringa will be a place for our community to ride, it has trails and features literally FOR EVERY SKILL LEVEL.

RTP is accepting comments on this grant application.  If you are interested in seeing the park plan that was adopted please let me know.

Your comment and time could make this community project finally happen.  Comment, share the link:

Let’s do this for Tanner, Let’s do this for the future of cycling, Let’s just do this Missoula!

Annual I ride for Tanner at the Day of the Dead Parade in Missoula

Every year we meet to remember and honor the memories of those that have past in Missoula.

This year we will meet at the XXX's to Ride or Walk for Tanner in the Annual Day of the Dead Parade on November 2nd in downtown Missoula.

The Parade line up starts at 4pm at the XXX's at the end of Higgins Street. Parade starts at 5pm.

This year, Sussex School 6th graders are taking on the Tanner Olson Memorial Bike Park at their service learning project for a non-profit in Missoula. So students will be riding and walking for Tanner in front of Sussex School Procession.

Plan to dress up, make a sign and remember Tanner Olson, the amazing kid who charged life with extreme gusto.

This is an awesome opportunity to let our community know about our efforts to build a Bike Park in Memorial to Tanner Olson. See you there!
